Clothing Bank Volunteer (Mill View Hospital)

At Mill View Hospital we care for people with acute mental health problems until they are ready to leave hospital and live in the community.

We are looking for a volunteer to support us with the set up and management of ward based clothing banks.

The clothing banks will provide a valuable resource to service users needing clothing, footwear and/or toiletries.

The Clothing Bank Volunteer will organise clothes in the delegated area and take steps to seek donations as needed.

We are looking for a volunteer that can commit to at least one 2 hour shift weekly for a minimum of 6 months.

To be successful for this role, candidates must be willing to:

• Completed online volunteering application form

• Attend an informal volunteering interview

• Undertake a DBS check

• Provide 2 references

• Complete core training (including 2.5hr face to face training during the week)

• Attend a local induction (these are held week days, between 10am-4pm)
