EbE Interview Panellist Role (Interview Panel Bank)

Opportunity image

We are looking for an Expert by Experience (EbE) to be part of a recruitment panel 'bank'. This person will bring an EbE perspective to the recruitment for various posts across the Trust by being a full voting member of the interview panels. Currently, we ask staff/teams to give us 2 weeks notice for recruiting an EBE for any opportunity. However, interviews can often occur very last minute for numerous reasons that are not always in our control. This unfortunately means that we are often unable to find an EBE at such late notice, which means that we lose the voice of lived experience in those panels. We are interested in whether there are any EBEs who would be interested in being a part of a 'bank'. In practice, this means that if we have a last minute interview request, we will email those on the 'bank' to see if they are available for the opportunity. This doesn't mean that you are unable to turn the opportunity down, it just means you will receive the offer and are agreeing that you are happy to receive those emails for last minute requests. We hope that this will reduce how many interview panels occur without lived experience perspectives. If you are interested in getting involved but haven't been part of an interview panel before, please know training will be provided and we encourage you to still apply.
