EbE Representative Role (Telling Your Story Workshop Co-facilitator)

We are looking for an Expert by Experience (EbE) to bring the voice of lived experience, by co-facilitating our Telling Your Story Workshop in person for other EbEs.

The telling your story workshop will be on 20.02.2025 in person. 1 hour pre-meet online to review materials and plan, half an hour prep/setting up on the day, 2.5-hour facilitation, half an hour debrief afterwards

Location: Portland House, Richmond Road Worthing, West Sussex BN11 1HS. Virtual platform for planning meeting: Microsoft Teams.

Main Purpose:

This is to support us in facilitating our Telling Your Story Workshop which we have run previously, that we wish to start up again this year. We would love an EbE to facilitate this in person workshop alongside us.

We are looking for an EbE with experience of either telling their story at the Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust staff Induction or an EbE that has attended a Telling Your Story Workshop facilitated by us and an EbE previously.

Preparation & debriefing details: 1 hour pre-meet online to review materials and plan, half an hour prep/setting up on the day prior to the workshop start, 2.5-hour co-facilitation of workshop, half an hour debrief afterwards

Travel expenses will be paid via expenses timesheet submission as this is an in person opportunity.

Relevance of lived experience to role duties:

Using Lived Experience of sharing their story/journey as a service user/carer previously.

Skills Experience: Must have experience of Telling Their Story at the Trust Induction or of attending the Telling Your Story Workshop previously. Skills required: Computer/digital, Interpersonal, Oral & Written Communication, Organisation & Planning, Problem solving, Team work and Time management.
